Our mission

AI can write an app in an hour. Running it reliably, on your own hardware, without a cloud bill or a DevOps team, is where everyone gets stuck. Nerdit closes that gap.

Nerdit is the deployment and operation layer for the apps AI builds. One command turns a folder into a live app on your own machine: a secure URL, auto-restart, secrets, and a local or external AI model wired in. From there, your AI agent keeps operating it, and you supervise every action.

The hard part

The prototype is the easy part. Your agent writes an app in an hour and it runs on your laptop. Turning that into something your team can actually depend on, with no cloud and no DevOps team, is a different job, and it's the one nobody signed up for. That gap is what Nerdit is built to close, so here is exactly what stands in the way.

Servers, Docker, certificates. Getting an AI app online means a reverse proxy, HTTPS certificates that have to renew, a container that has to build, and a machine you have to babysit. None of it is the app you set out to make, and all of it sits between you and a working URL.

It crashes while you sleep. A prototype has no health checks and no auto-restart. One memory spike, one bad deploy, one dependency that drifts, and the app is down until someone notices, usually a user, usually at the worst possible time.

The cloud tax. The easy path is to push everything to a provider, but then every request leaves your network and the API bill climbs with every user you add. Your data and your costs both stop being yours.

Nerdit erases this middle. You describe the app, your agent builds it, and one command puts it live on your own hardware with a secure URL, auto-restart, and secrets handled. The hard part becomes a command, and your agent operates what comes after.

Built to be operated by agents

The apps are increasingly written by agents. So the platform that runs them should be one an agent can drive. Nerdit exposes a native interface so your agent can deploy, inspect, operate, audit, roll back and redeploy, with scoped access and a full audit log. Your agent acts; Nerdit gives it the levers; a human stays in control.

Why local?

Cloud is convenient, but costs add up, data leaves your control, and AI inference means shipping your data to a provider. With the right tooling, your own hardware runs your AI apps privately, at a fixed cost, on your own network.
